Keep me in the Loop - JavaScript

Many times in your code you require to loop through an array of numbers, strings or object. There are just so many ways to do it, and this tutorial aims to teach you all of them so that you become a Master of ‘Looping in JavaScript’. JavaScript loops are used to repeatedly run a block of code - until a certain condition is met. When we talk about iteration or iterating over, say, an array, it is the same as looping.

Looping in JavaScript

There are many different kinds of loops, but they all essentially do the same thing: they repeat an action some number of times (and it's actually possible that number could be zero). The various loop mechanisms offer different ways to determine the start and end points of the loop. There are various situations that are more easily served by one type of loop over the others. In general coding practices, we have multiple different types of loops available which serves the same purpose that is repeating the same task for multiple numbers of times.

The for-in loop is the only cross-browser technique for iterating the properties of generic objects. There’s a bunch of literature about the dangers of using for-in to iterate arrays and when to apply the hasOwnProperty filter, but beyond that, documentation of this ubiquitous construct is surprisingly patchy. This article attempts to fill some gaps, I hope its useful.

#2. The For Loop

For loops are a fundamental part of pretty much every language used in web development.The For Loop is the most basic way to loop in your JavaScript code. It is very handy to execute a block of code a number of times. It uses a counter, whose value is first initialized, and then its final value is specified. If you aren’t already familiar, for loops allow you to take action on a list of elements without explicitly naming each element.
